Oh hey, it’s been awhile! My social calendar has been booked up – can people please stop graduating, getting married, and having babies already?! (kidding, congrats to you all!) – and work has been crazy busy now that I’ve been added to our cocoa flavanols research study. We’ve actually had to put recruitment on hold because we’ve had such a high interest in our study. This news report did not help (well, I guess technically it did but it helped too much!)
What are you up to this weekend?
I am volunteering at water station #6 for the Brooklyn Half Marathon tomorrow which means I have to be to Prospect Park by 5:30am. Then my girl friends and I are having a ladies night karaoke in the Lower East Side. Sunday, weather permitting, I’m hoping to get a moderate length run in before working on my science communication side projects, Neurotweeps and Pint of Science. Speaking of Pint of Science…
The annual festival is next week Monday, May 23rd – Wednesday, May 25th. Did you know that it’s in 12 countries and countless cities across the globe? If you have the chance, you should definitely go.
