159 days until my Philly Marathon!
Last week I decided to ramp up my mileage and hit a nice 22.5 mile week. It was actually kind of hard to keep my mileage down because the weather was amazing but I didn’t want to push it too hard since my body had only been hitting single digit mileage on the dreadmill all allergy season. Here’s the breakdown:
Sunday, June 5th NYRR Retro 4 Miler
Monday, June 6th 30 minute light gym session
Tuesday, June 7th 7.5 easy miles because it’s all about that base
Wednesday, June 8th 45 minute gym cross training session (0.5 warm up) + a 4.5 mile evening run with friends in Central Park
Thursday, June 9th Rest
Friday, June 10th Rest
Saturday, June 11th NYRR New York Mini 10k
