The NYRR R-U-N 5K on August 11th was canceled due to thunderstorms and the Long Run #2 on August 11th was canceled due to heat so I used that as an excuse to cancel my training. Probably not the best idea…

Speaking of moving, I love my new place! I’m in a quiet little town out on Long Island. I replaced public transportation with this baby:
Going from no biking to biking daily as my main transportation has definitely been noticeable. Until my body adjusts I have a feeling there won’t be a ton of running. I’m torn on if I should scale back frequencies of runs or length of runs. I’ve been thinking frequency and still try and get at least one long run a week. Any advice?
Oh speaking of my new home, the beach is only 8k from my house.
