I have a confession to make. I am feeling burnt out. I haven’t run since last Tuesday. I felt pretty ill after practice and took a few days off to recover. Then as for this weekend, I just did not want to run. DID NOT WANT TO RUN. I wanted to have a life. I wanted to drink beers. I wanted to go to the beach. I wanted to just do anything but running. So that’s exactly what I did. I just enjoyed life. And that’s okay. And you know what, I’m also taking tonight off from practice because I can. But I’ll be back in the game starting tomorrow.
P.S. I did a 90 minute yoga class Friday followed by a 60 minute deep tissue massage. I’m definitely counting that towards my training.
